As a self-administered site (not directly run by the City Council) Ash Road Allotments depends entirely upon volunteers to keep the site running.  Because of this we hold regular 'Work Parties', where we ask plot-holders to give some time to help with a task to maintain or improve the site.  

 

Below is a 'Work Party Calendar' for 2024, with Work Parties held on the first Thursday and third Sunday of each month:

 

3rd Mar, 7th Apr, 5th May, 2nd Jun,

7th Jul, 4th Aug, 1st Sept, 6th Oct

Sunday Work Parties will run from 9:45-11am (with a coffee break at 11am)

Final confirmation of each Work Party (and more information about the task) will be sent by email and posted on our Facebook page a few days before each event.  It may well be that on some days the task required can be completed in shorter time.
